Following an early career in finance and social enterprise, Tim transitioned into the fruit farming and winemaking sectors, combining a strong commercial foundation with a practical, science-led approach to crop production. After completing a BA in Finance and Marketing and an MBA in Global Business, he went on to gain a Postgraduate Certificate in Viticulture and Oenology, alongside the BASIS Certificate in Crop Protection.
He has worked extensively across Zimbabwe, South Africa, the UK, the USA, and Europe, holding a range of operational, technical, and managerial roles within vineyards, farms, and agri-businesses. His experience includes hands-on vineyard establishment, crop management, and wine production, as well as broader consultancy and project leadership within sustainable agriculture.
At FAST LLP, Tim advises fruit growers on crop protection, nutrition, and production strategies, with a particular interest in integrating viticultural best practice into fruit systems. His focus is on delivering practical, personal, and evidence-based solutions that enhance quality, sustainability, and profitability for UK growers.
